The new video page is slowly making it's way towards the site. It's a massive project that I hope will be completed in the coming weeks. Here's a basic status update.

Completed:

In Progress:

• Keywords Table
• Regional Table

To Do:

• Link Layout
• Database Connections
• Comments

As you can see the project is getting closer to completion little by little. By the end of tomorrow hopefully the database code will be almost completed. It's a massive project but if things go well you may see the new video page sooner than expected!

The video page is coming along smoothly. Here's the current status:

The regional table was removed due to an excess size of over 1 million rows. Instead regions are being stored as text until a decision can be made on how to handle them. It's unlikely regional data will be used at this time.

Other than that the next step is creating shows to hold the video feeds. This is a struggle since it's not going to be automated like the previous steps. However I have some ideas how to make a little less painful using a little regex and database magic. Again this is a massive project but it's looking very promising so far!

For now Happy Memorial Day to those in the US! I'll be taking the day off to go fishing.
