After careful consideration I decided to stick with the name Summer Giveaway Explosion. Elite Summer Giveaway was a close pick but the final decision was made based on user feedback, the logo design, and the visual appeal of the logo. Let's dive right into how the giveaway will work!

When you log into the site after August 2nd at 8 PM EST, you will notice a new hotbar at the top of the page. The hotbar will be used to track your progress in the event as you collect tickets that will be raffled off for prizes. You'll be able to collect tickets in a variety of ways but the primary method will be by clicking on a button in the hotbar that will bring up a slot machine in which you can win between 0 and 3 tickets. You'll be able to spin every 15 minutes on the site. (Times may be changed throughout the contest).

If luck is not on your side, you'll be able to take part in any of the many mini-games on the site. Also, anyone who helps out on the site by submitting database entries may receive a few tickets as thanks! 

So what are the tickets used for?

At the end of the event there will be a special live stream to select the winners at random. The more tickets you have the greater your chances of winning!

Rules and Restrictions
  1. Eligibility: a) Participants must be at least age 13 or above. b) All entrants must he an OtakuElite account. (No purchase necessary) c) Event staff and their family are not eligible to receive prizes. d) Entrant must have a valid Crunchyroll account (No purchase necessary) to receive prizes. d) Users may not use multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining additional prizes. Users caught doing so will be disqualified and potentially banned from the site.
  2. Start/End Dates: The contest will begin at 8:00 PM EST Friday August 2nd 2013 and end 8:00 PM Sunday August 4th. All entries outside of this time frame will not be considered.
  3. How to Enter: Participants will need to log into the site during the event time and use the hotbar at the top of the page to receive tickets. Participants can earn between 0 and 3 tickets with equal odds. Staff members will also be giving out tickets randomly. Because of the nature of the event there is no specific amount of tickets the staff can give out. Odds and ticket amounts may be changed during the course of the contest.
  4. Drawing: Winners will be selected at random using random.org.
  5. Prizes: The following prizes will be awarded:
    1. 1x 1 year all access Crunchyroll membership
    2. 3x 3 month anime Crunchyroll membership
    3. 15x 1 month all access Crunchyroll membership
    4. 32x 1 month anime Crunchyroll membership 
  6. Privacy: No additional information besides what's listed in the site's Terms of Service will be collected.
  7. Miscellaneous: TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, OTAKUELITE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ILLEGAL CONTENT SUBMITTED BY USERS. OTAKUELITE WILL FOLLOW ALL LEGAL ACTIONS REQUIRED TO REMOVE ILLEGAL CONTENT. BY SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY TO ANY CONTEST DURING THE EVENT YOU AGREE THAT YOU MEET ALL OF THE RULES AND RESTRICTIONS. Made some changes to the rules and restrictions to allow for changes to the frequency and amount of tickets being given out. Other changes may also be made throughout the course of the event. As well users can be disqualify and banned from the site if they use multiple accounts for obtaining additional tickets.

Resolved a glitch with tickets resetting to 1 after obtaining 10. If you had this issue be sure to message me so I can gift you the tickets back.

You should know have better odds on the slot machines and will start receiving 3 tickets.
Permanently remove poll and all votes forever.
