Helba has created the Twilight Hot Springs for our heroes from the .hack game series and the .hack//SIGN series. Now the characters race to see who finds it first, and to solve some mysterious player-killings.

Shugo and Reina are brother and sister who hasn't seen one another in a long time; not since their parents divorced. Once hearing of an opportunity of being able to spend time together, they both enter to win limited edition characters in an online game simply known as the world. Fortune favors them both as they win the ultimate characters known as Black Rose and Kite, and are able to meet each other in the world. Everything seems wonderful in the world until things go drastically wrong as invincible monsters keep appearing.

A mysterious set of events has been occurring across an MMORPG called The World which has grown to reach millions of players. Along with strange phenomena occurring throughout the game causing monsters to become increasingly difficulty, players have started falling into comas as a result of the game. Three girls, Mai Minase, Yuki Aihara, and Kyoko Tohno seek to find out the cause of these occurrences within The World. Junichiro Tokuoka, former CC Corp. director of the Japanese version of The World, may be able to help them in their quest by using his vast knowledge of the development of the game.

Tsukasa mysteriously appears in an unknown world in which he has no recollection of the past or how he got there. All he knows is that this mysterious world is actually an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in which characters gather to complete quests, gain experience to become more powerful, battle monsters, and search for rare treasures. Unlike the other players in "The World," Tsukasa can feel actual pain and is unable to logout of the game. After he comes to terms with the truth, he slowly becomes accustomed to a group of players as they learn the secret of an item known as "The Key of the Twilight" which may hold the ability to bring back his memories. The only hints he has are a mysterious cat and the voice of a young girl. Tsukasa must now battle against the Crimson Knights who protect the online game "The World" while he searches for the truth.

To help the princess save the kingdom she must wake up the princes, as the princes are unable to wake up due to having their dreams stolen.

Seven years after his sister committed suicide, Satsuki Kakeru lives an empty life. Satsuki’s only purpose is to protect his lifelong friend Yuka who he grew up with in an orphanage. Yuka has been adopted by a new family and Satsuki now lives alone. The two are randomly transported into a world with a red sky where monsters are roaming the streets and everyone has disappeared. They somehow manage to escape but Satsuki has no choice but to become stronger to protect Yuka and seek out the other students who share the same connection to this strange world.

Haruto wakes up on a round bed in a strange room. The only things that look familiar is what he's wearing and a smartphone and headphones. He encounters a strange girl in white named Lily who claims to be his sister and a weird man who looks like a cat. Haruto learns that he's in a dream belonging to Yuko, a girl stricken with Sleeping Beauty Syndrome. Yuko is the renowned Witch of Thunder, an all-powerful woman who makes the dream world bow before her. Haruto's sister tells him that he must wake Yuko up by killing her in the dream in order to break the “spell” she's under, but Haruto's got some other ideas about what might be keeping Yuko asleep.

Miu Takigawa observes the world from the safety of her bangs, content to go about her business unseen. Miu is reserved and shy, and she finds it difficult to talk with or even smile at clients at her part-time job, but she works relentlessly to support her mother and her loving younger sister, Haru. When a letter from the entertainment business GIP arrives, informing her that she has been picked as a candidate for their new project, she is taken aback. Miu accepts the invitation and arrives at the meeting location, where an odd assortment of other applicants, each summoned by their own letters, arrive. Soon after, the girls are led by a manager to a luxurious underground facility, where they are told that they must obey the enigmatic dictates of "The Wall," whose commands are absolute.

Imagine a world where you could make anyone your slave, all you would have to do is challenge them to a duel and it could happen. There is a device called SCM (slave control method) that is placed into the duelers mouth. With the SCM the winner will have full control over the loser and can make them do anything they want!

Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari have been close since childhood but are separated against their will by their families. The law for "Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" took en effect 16 years ago in Japan. With this law, coarse language and certain lewd hand gestures were completely banned. Tanukichi Okuma ranks as the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon visited by the leader of the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by it's founder, Ayame Kajō. As a memeber blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the the talented student body council president, whom he also has a huge crush on, Anna.

Kazuma and his brother Ayumu move out into the country, from the city, because Kazuma's brother has an illness. The plan was to stay at their father's inn, the Yorozuyo, until the rest of the family could move. After getting off of the train, they board a bus only for Ayumu to realize that they had taken the wrong bus! They hastily get off at the next stop and wait an entire hour for the next one. While they wait, a monkey comes along and steals Ayumu's hat. Kazuma, runs after it through the forest, braving many natural hazards to chase the monkey that has the hat. Once retrieving the hat, Kazuma suddenly realizes that he is hopelessly lost! He stumbles across a girl named Ui Nakatsugawa, who will gladly show him the way back to the bus stop. They come to a creek, and Ui jumps over it with ease, Kazuma tries, and on the last step, stumbles and crashes into Ui! They both fall over and he ends up kissing her, all by accident of course, but to an onlooker it didn't seem accidental!

Himeno is an average teenage girl that attends school and lives with her parents. Her grades are excellent and she's great in sports. The only difference is that she's a centaur and her friends and classmates are mermaids, angels and other mystical creatures.

Desir's next goal is to enlist the help of Romantica Eru, the wind magician, whom he was unable to save in his former life. If Desir hopes to finally rescue as many lives as he can.

Tooru and Run have been best friends for a long time, so it's no surprise that when Tooru manages to get into the same high school as Run, she rushes off to inform her.
