As suggested by Awsome and a few others, welcome messages have been added to the site! This is a small message new users will get when they join the site. The welcome message is a modified version of the April newsletter that is geared more toward new users and a bit shorter.

Along with this update the message box link will only show for validated users since it just redirects users without a validated account to the home page anyway.
