Anime Update: Info Page Part I

As it's almost 4am I'm going to be brief on this and go more in detail tomorrow when I'm not dead tired.

Updates:

New layout.
Simplified the code for user lists.
Added favorite feature.
Added list notes.
Faster loading times.

Anime Info Page Update 1

This update was focused on changing the layout of the anime pages to the most recent layout. As well as a focus on making the site more accessible to touch devices and cleaning up a few odds and ends. I'm going to briefly go over some of the changes.

Layout
The layout was changed to be more friendly to users and match the overall design of the site going forward. Larger tabs have been included to make it easier for touch devices to navigate the site as well as moving the list drop down to the top right making it more accessible and less intrusive. The edit button has also been moved to a tab.

User Lists
User lists have been updated with two new features including favorites and notes. Favorites will be used in the future to help you find your favorite series quicker. Notes will be displayed in an up coming update on the anime pages as well as your list pages. This will help you track where you left off on a series as well as any other notes you may want to add. At this time there is no limit to how long notes can be, but they will be "cut off" if too long on certain parts of the site.

User lists now use a save feature. This means if you want to cancel your changes you can simply press "esc" to exist the list popup and all of your changes will be undone. The star color for your ratings have also been changed to green to help you distinguish between public ratings and your own.

When you change your list from "Watched Some" to "Completed" you will be prompted to rate again. This will encourage users to update their ratings when they actually complete the series as some series often get better or worse toward the end. List stats have also been moved to another tab. This includes if you watched the series raw, dubbed, subbed, and where you saw the series. While this information isn't as widely shown as before it's still highly encouraged that you use these options as they will be used in the future!

Comments
Comments have been updated to the modern design and are far easier to use. All features are the same as before and the side drop down proves to be easier for touch users.

Dev Notes
This update is part of many changes that will be made to the site. For now the review tab has been removed. This is because reviews are being completely redone. For the time being you're encouraged to write your reviews in your blog. Eventually blogs will be linked up to entries so that your blog posts are easier to find. The episode link still exists but will be removed in a future update when the episode editor is added to the anime editor. Other changes to come will be announced when the time is right!

These features will help develop the community by offering more integration between social features in the future as well as simplifying the submission processes when the time comes. The next update will have a LOT of new features! This update is more of a rough skeleton of what's to come.

Bug fix: Fixed a bug where when adding an entry to your list would be shown on the home page as a rating. Ratings are now removed if you rate all score types with 0 stars.

Bug Fix: Comment time has been fixed on the home page to reflect the correct comment time.

Two updates:

Bug Fix: Fixed a bug where notes were showing as "0" when adding an anime to your list for the first time. As well removed all "0" notes in the database to avoid confusion.

New Feature: You will now have a small sticky note next to the "sub-details" if you have notes listed. To read it just hover your cursor over the note. If you're using a tocuh screen you can click on it to view the note.

Small update:

If an entry has no characters added it will now have a tab for "Add Character" and link to the character submission page.

If a user is not logged it the tab will not appear if there are no characters.

Bug fix:
When you select the user list drop down using a touch device it will now work properly.
