Synopsis
After solving the Millennium Puzzle, which was given to him by his grandfather, Yugi is possessed by the spirit an Egyptian Pharaoh who has no memories of his past. The Millennium Puzzle is just one of the many Egyptian artifacts that hold incredible power that others are trying to get their hands on. In a ploy to obtain Yugi’s Millennium Puzzle, Pegasus, the creator of the game Duel Monsters, captures Yugi’s grandfather and forces Yugi to participate in the Duel Monsters tournament if he ever wishes to see his grandfather again.
