Synopsis
In the middle of the war between the Northern Government and Southern Continent Free Zone Sentan Island remains isolated from the war. Akiyuki Takehara is a high school student on the island who is living with his parents who are going through hardships with their relationship. When traveling to school one day he helps a girl get pass security and onto the bus who ends up being a terrorist and blows herself up emitting a strange light that enters Akiyuki arm transforming him into a creature called a Xam'd. Unable to transform back Akiyuki is met by a girl who gives him a choice to either be turned into stone or come with her aboard the airship Zanbani.
