Synopsis
A new school year begins in middle school for Shuicihi Nitori who has just entered the sixth grade with his tomboyish friend Yoshino Takatsuki who has cut her hair short. Shuicihi and Yoshino are unlike the other students in the classroom and share a secret. Shuicihi really wants to be a girl and Yoshino wants to be a boy. The two transgender friends have gone their separate ways but remain close friends. Both of their parents don’t know their secret and Shuicihi has only shared his secret with a select few close friends including his best friend Mako who understands Shuicihi’s problems and has gender identity problems of his own. Shuicihi and Yoshino both continue to struggle with their identities as they reach puberty. Shuicihi must also deal with his parents and his sister who doesn’t approve of his cross dressing.
