Synopsis
It is the final hour of the widely popular virtual reality game called Yggdrasil. Although the game is set to be shut down there is one individual that wanted to stay connected till the very last second; Momonga. He is a powerful wizard and master of the dark guild. The clock strikes midnight and just when the servers are supposed to go down, he finds himself not only online, but actually in the game! The npcs even start developing personalities of their own! Confronted with this abnomality, Momonga commands his loyal servants to help him investigate this new world, with the hopes of figuring out what has caused this development and if possible to find others who are trapped here as well.
